Ubnuntu format?

Hello!

I have a double boot system in my comp.
I tried to make some upgrade in Ubuntu but everything went wrong and It's not working anymore. I can login but nothing is working. :)

What are your suggestions in this case?

Backup personal data on the Ubuntu partition and reinstall.

What did you do to it and how did you go about it? Were you upgrading from one version of Ubuntu to another or just updating applications? If you were upgrading and it failed, the reinstall suggestion is best....from a LiveCD or LiveUSB. And +1 on backing up all your personal files you can get to first!!

We need more info, what is not working? Does it just freeze as soon as you log in?

Yes, that was the problem.

Thanks to everybody; I couldn't back up but still managed to reinstall it...
