compiz/emerald issue on gnome

I switched my emerald theme for another style b/c my laptop went back to gtk randomly. Now whenever I make a picture full size with image viewer, then close or reduce the pic, it leaves my buttons black and a white box around everything. I have to reload compiz to get it to work.

Also my now playing screenlet no longer stays locked and everytime I reboot its on a different part of the screen and my dockbarx keeps having an error whenever I reboot. I guess something is wrong with my compiz but is there anyway I can check it to be sure?
