Installation problem

I have Mac mini.I bought it with no operating system on it.it have 1.25 ghz processor, 512 ram ,40 gb hard disk 9200 radion graphic card. I can not install ubuntu on it I tried couple times with diff options.plz help me I am really frustrated !

Could you try and please be a bit more specific about what kinds of problems you encountered and what solutions you might have tried thus far?

Considering the above specs. I would be inclined to suggest you try a 'lighter' option such as Xubuntu, Lubuntu, or even something like Puppy Linux.

i tried to install gentoo ubuntu,ubuntu for power mac g4.somebody told me when u boot the system press c but it never worked.if i want to install xbuntu which version i need and where i can download?
