Hi!

Anyone know how this might rnd with Ubuntu installed on it? I will of course have to get round the no CD/ CVD drive but that would be another problem ...

Looks like it should do without any major problems. The lack of CD drive is easily overcome as it is with all netbooks.

What worries me is (a) the webcam and (b) the wifi ... I have problems with both with a couple of other comps I have ...

I was considering this as well, but went to Currys and they had the Asus 1201T in for less than the U230 at Argos (identical spec apart from graphics card). Ubuntu desktop installed from USB & runs a dream, Wireless didn't work at first, but there's a deb file online for the 1201 series to fix this. Not sure about the cam, but apart from that seems to be spot on.
