I want to make my own homepage, and normally I use Google as my homepage, but I want to change some things through Kompozer, but after doing some stuff to it and using it on firefox the search wasn't working. I'm going to just put some icons on it for various websites, or put every search engine on it or something. I haven't fully decided yet. Ultimately I want to make a dock on it for my favorite websites. It wouldn't be animated, but I would at least make it look like it.

I'm sure what you want could be accomplished with a GreaseMonkey script

Use the Stylish extension in Chrome or Firefox. Create your own theme, or use one from Userstyles.org

I don't understand javascript or HTML. That's why I'm using Kompozer.

+1 for Greasemonkey or Stylish.
