Hi,

I am a newbie in Ubuntu. I have installed Os version 10.04 on my PC. Now I am trying to setup an Android env. I installed Eclipse Galilieo successfully and also have installed ADT 0.9.7 plugin for it. So far so good. When I try to install sdk version from AVD manager it gives me error
Downloading SDK Platform Android 2.1, API 7, revision 2
Failed to create directory /home/my_machine/android/android-sdk-linux_86/temp

Do anybody know what can be the issue. Please reply me back asap as I am not able to proceed without fixing this issue.

Thanks in Advance

I think you would have better luck asking in an Android or eclipse forum. I found this (http://www.helloandroid.com/tutorials/how-set-eclipse-android-sdk-ubuntu-linux-904910-updated) after a quick google search, but if it does not work for you, starting a thread in the Android or eclise forums might get you better results.
