I've installed Ubuntu Netbook Remix 10.04. Evince works fine on my home box with the desktop edition, but in the remix version on the netbook it does not remember the last page viewed when a PDF is closed and reopened. The /home directory has been kept from previous installation since it is on a separate partition.
This is the content of the metadata folder, empty files:

total 0
-rw-r--r-- 1 giorgio giorgio 0 2010-08-02 14:09 last_settings
-rw------- 1 giorgio giorgio 0 2010-07-24 18:32 migrated-to-gvfs
Should I reset some folder in /home? What can I do?
