I speak of the growing catastrophe now plaguing M$ re this (http://about-threats.trendmicro.com/RelatedThreats.aspx?language=us&name=Worm+Spreads+via+Windows+.LNK+Vulnerability).
There was a time when I would be spending the next few weeks or months trying to rid myself of something like this! Now, I just watch and chuckle. This one has me curious though. It is a very interesting exploit in that it isn't really an exploit: Rather, it is a flaw that has probably been around for some time. Nasty little beast. I will refrain from firing up my 7 partition until I see a solid fix. Looks like M$ will have more than a few sleepless nights in store for the patch folks. I see the "fix" released today simply renders the OS virtually unusable as all the shortcuts are disabled!
