I was testing out various dock softwares for Ubuntu. When trying Avant Window Navigator/Docky (I can't remember which one was running during the initial crash), I was editing my panels, moving them around to get a nice layout.
Suddenly the screen froze. I then hit ctrl+alt+f1, managed to find the restart command, and rebooted. It starts up and goes upto the login screen, and after I enter my password, my wallpaper shows up along with the startup sound. Nothing else happens, I can't do anything like right clicking. Only option i found was to go to the terminal again and restart.
Any idea what is happening?
