I have been trying lately onto install Ubuntu onto my computer. Everything was working until the partitioning section when this error came up when forward was clicked “no root filing system is defined”. It then says to go above to select the partition that I choose to use. I have no partitions to select though. My problem is that I can’t create a partition because when the computer starts, it requires a boot disk which in this case is Ubuntu. Does anyone have a solution for me? Please and thank you.
