VMWare Virtual Machine

I used Vmware in Windows XP. Using that software I can install and use other operating system inside XP. Is there any software available for Ubuntu 10.04 and how can I install it through command prompt?

1. Yes Virtual Box is great in windows to run other operating systems.

2. You can download Virtual Box from their website right into your Ubutntu installation!

The instructions are also there so that you can add the VirtualBox repositories. Then if you want to install it through the command prompt, you can simply type:


sudo apt-get install virtualbox-3.2
