Long time lurker, first time poster.
Ive been using Ubuntu for a while now, and i love it. Im needing to learn batch scripting though, and id rather have the full windows os installed rather than just an emulator. theres also a few things i would like to use on the mac os and since i havke plenty of room on my HD-still over 100GB-i figured triple boot would be the easiest way to get it done. ive dual booted mac and windows or other computers and for a while i had mac and ubuntu dual booted on this laptop so im familiar with how it works.

heres my question.
is it possible to set up a triple boot w/o losing my data i already have? i have 30 GB of data that i need to keep and the only external HD i have handy is formatted for my room mates mac and ubuntu is unable to write to it.

thanks a lot. you guys have helped me a ton before.
