I have finish a fresh install of ubuntu 10.4

and now every time i do a sudo apt-get update
i get this error

For what i can understand this is a problem with the server, but is this normal this error as one week old
and i cant install any software from software centre or from synaptic.

Can any one give a idea???

Thanks in advance

Go to System>Administration>Software Sources and change the server you are downloading from.

Main or other> Choose best server.

If that dosen't work please translate the error and we'll see if there is another solution.

What he meant to say was that he could not update his ubuntu, since the portuguese servers did not reply. Maybe they are down, I don´t know...

I got the same problem, but changed my server and it worked. Now, my most concern is if I download software updates in English, since all my system is portuguese...
