Since Maverick's version number is 10.10, maybe we should have it released on 10/10/2010 at 10:10 am UTC, if possible.

It'll be released when it's done ready.

I think the plan is for a release on 10/10/10 anyway bit I'm sure that I've read somewhere that midnight UTC is when things tend to happen. I hope that Maverick isn't released until it is ready. Yes, updates and fixes will happen whenever the official release takes place but it's not worth pinning Canonical down to both a date and a time at this stage.

Yeah, I would prefer it to be finished too.

I just want it to be stable. I'm tired of all the emphasis on what the UI looks like, I want it to be rock solid. No odd hiccups from version to version. No more Beta software on final releases would be great.

Over the years I have issues come and go every six months. Some were simple to fix others I just "deal" with until hopefully fixed in the next release.

Oh, joy! More Social Networking garbage. Well if Fedora is doing it, I guess Ubuntu has to keep up.

Shotwell's a photo manager, I don't think it has much to do with social networking :P

I wouldn't be so bad to include the social stuff if it, you know, like worked. I.E. Gwibber, it let me sign in before, but after a new installation it won't work. Meh, I'll just go online. Way for being convenient.
