Which 3rd party DNS service do you use?

I've been using OpenDNS for about a year now, and I love it.

if you don't care about your privacy:

Time ago I did found one which wanted to extend the available domains with special ones (with extra suffix)... free for everyone

but looks like it's no longer maintanied... too bad, it could be a very good option to switch back democracy in the internet!

FYI OpenDNS breaks the DNS protocol.

I use Afraid.org and I'm really satisfied. No need to spend money on hosting when you can do it yourself. All I paid was $10 for a domain name from Godaddy (http://godaddy.com) which turned out to be the only $10 I spent for all of my sites.

What does this have to do with the topic?

I use openDNS, they are far better than my ISP's DNS servers, back when i was using my ISP's i got dropouts and had DNS resolution problems every 2-3 days, it was terrible.

Been using OpenDNS for the last 15 months or so, no problems at all.

OpenDNS, it's good by itself, but it has lots of extra features too that make it even better.

OpenDNS here too, seems to work a lot better than my ISP's DNS. Been using them for years now, no complaints.

I use Google DNS for my primary DNS, OpenDNS for my secondary DNS and a local DNS as a tertiary DNS.

Any drawbacks to using different DNSs like this? My reasoning is that if Google DNS was to go down, I'd still be able to resolve addresses using OpenDNS, or the local DNS if OpenDNS was down as well.

In my benchmarks, Google's DNS was by far the fastest.
