him- "when i upgraded from 2.2.32-23 to 2.6.32-24 all my permissions to almost everything got turned off i have not access to anything my widgets don't work i can't open webpages i can't play music i cant do anything even the most simple of tasks do not function it's like i'm no longer computer administrator but i can't even change it to something else even though it does say administrator"

him- "yes I have terminal access but I couldn't even run the apt-get update because I didn't. Habe access to the source list I think but am not for sure"
I usually don't have any trouble with Ubuntu, but this is a new one for me :). Any suggestions? I can't re-duplicate
