Ever since I ditched Windows for Linux, I seem to also have ditched my local music lib. Why is that?

I used Winamp in Windows [and loved it to bits [!!]], now I use Rhythmbox on Linux, I love that one also, but for some reason I tend to listen to live radio on Rhythmbox, where I used to compose playlists on Winamp in the past.

My music library is over 250GB big, so I have enough to listen to, one would say, and I really love my music lib.

So what's going on?
