Hi!
I don't know where to post really (sorry for that), I currently live in France but I'm moving to Ontario in a month (to Waterloo-Kitchener), and I was looking for a Canadian forum, it would be nice to find a community.
Otherwise, since I do not know any Canadian stores (or websites), I'm looking for some advice. I'd like to buy a plug computer (Sheeva, Marvell, Tonido...) to host myself my soon-to-be-online blog, and maybe use it for other services (or community projects).
So if anyone is currently living in Toronto, Waterloo... please help me getting started.
See you

Hey Vapourstreak! Thanks for the help. Well, I'm looking for this type of device :

http://www.compulab.co.il/fitpc2/html/fitpc2-datasheet.htm
Someone from Ottawa gave me some links to some online shops, but I couldn't find it anywhere, and I do not know which ones to trust. She also told me that buying from the US might be cheaper, even if custom fees are included, apparently experiences vary depending on the web sites. Also I could look for them in Toronto, but once again I do not know where to look.
After that I might need some help setting up the servers, but these worries will wait. ;)

@ d.mon: I saw your page, but I prefer webforums to email lists (and I'm already registered here), there is a QuebecOS forums, but I haven't found one yet for Ontario. I also noticed there is a LUG in Waterloo-Kitchener, but I might buy the device in Toronto before settling there, so I'd like to know an address before flying to Canada.
I also thought there would be a subsection devoted to Canada, but since it's so big here, I thought I would ask. ;)

Newfoundland here!

I do know that the University of Waterloo is pretty supportive for the Linux community. Their LUG is often Canada's official mirror for many distros (including Ubuntu).

There is more Ubuntu activity in Waterloo than in Toronto.

I doubt if you will find a Plug for sale in a store in Canada.

Most Canadian ISPs will not let you run a web site from your home. Some of them let you run a low-volume web site on their computers. I have a low-cost ISP, and a web site on godaddy.

Hi gordintoronto

Thanx a lot for your warning, I've just sent an email to a student association so they let me know what's possible.
You've helped me a great deal.
Cheers
