Can somebody explain me what's the difference between Nautilus and Nautilus-Elementary?

I'm totally clueless.

Nautilus-Elementary basically sets out to eliminate wasted space and redundant icons in a Nautilus file browser window.

After:

It's one of the first things I always reinstall when I do a clean install.

Aww.. thanks for the reply. But, is that thing only for nautilus file browser? Every time I look at a theme on deviantart or somewhere else, there is a nautilus-elementary variant for it. Does it somehow belong to elementary OS project?

How do I install it? Shed some light, please.

Thank you again.

To install the commands are here:

To understand how nautilus-elementary relates to the elementary os project read the wiki here:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Elementary_(computing)

Long story short, nautilus-elementary is one facet of what the elementary os project wants to achieve: simple, attractive UI.

Hi..

Thank you for the links. Ubuntu Forum is a very enjoyable place and people here are very helpful. I did a meaningful thing to join this forum. I'll read more at those links.

Have a good day!
