never mind ordered wanted an ssd for longest time will just add a second drive bay for my old hdd when it shows up

let us know how the rebate works out, as $20 back on a $70 purchase could potentially be a deal-maker or deal-breaker for lots of folks.

it's a manufacturers rebate. ill attach pdf for you to see. after rebate the ssd will cost $60 not too bad as far as ssds go.

I am running that model at the moment. It only seems to speed up boot times, everything else seems the same to be honest. Programs open at the same speed they did on a normal HD.

Looks like it's got a JMicron controller in it, i'd avoid it like the plague.
