Error installing otcl-1.12

Hi all,

I'm unable to install Otcl-1.12 package included in Aqua-sim software available at

http://ubinet.engr.uconn.edu/mediawiki/index.php/Aqua-Sim

I encountered the following error:


make: *** [libotcl.so] Error 1
otcl-1.12 make failed! Exiting ...

Please let me know if anyone has solution for this problem!

I saw a tutorial for installing The Network Simulator ns-2 on 9.10, which seems to have a solution to the same error you're describing: http://uri.tl/m

The key problem seems to be an incompatibility with the version of gcc.

I already looked at that link and was able to install that but I need to install Aqua-sim package mentioned in my original post. That includes additional packages for simulating underwater environment.

Can you see the point? I need to get Aqua-sim installation working according to http://ubinet.engr.uconn.edu/mediawi...x.php/Aqua-Sim
