I have an Acer Aspire 3104 running Ubuntu 10.4 and am not able to use Skype because the microphone doesn't record. Skype seems to run just fine and the speakers are working, just not the mic.
I've set the parameters under preferences/sound to internal audio analog stereo duplex for input as that seems to be the only driver available.
I don't have an external mic to test the line in function.
Can anyone help?
