What is a better way to start a dual boot with Windows 7 and Ubuntu 10.04, Wubi or LiveCD?

I wouldnt use wubi unless I had a very good reason to. Just install from the livecd.

Wubi is something to try. You don't want to use it all the time.

Thanks for the guide and I all ready have everything setup. I'm stuck at this part though and I have/had a thread going for this problem I have. http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=1538784 I was just curious if wubi was better.

But my problem is this:

164657

I do not know what to choose. I am trying to dual boot. Do I select the entire drive or just the partition that has ubuntu waiting to be installed on it? I did not know if wubi did it for me and knew what I was trying to do.

this snapshot show you the default installer dialog box, but if you follow my link previously given, it says to prepare your partitions first, then you check manual installation and dont use the installer to decide for you

( wubi = linux inside a windoz file)
