I was looking on ebay.com for some random tux, Linux listings & I came across this one. XXL 2010 Linux Tux Cycling Jersey (http://cgi.ebay.com/New-2010-Linux-Tux-Cycling-Jersey-Shirt-XXL-/310227450720?cmd=ViewItem&pt=US_Men_s_Athletic_Apparel&var=&hash=item8e072d8420#ht_2103wt_913)

I am not big on cycling myself but the fact of the matter is that someone made a Tux cycling jersey.

I would just like to share this with you all. This is not my listing & I am not trying to bump someones ebay listing just wanting to share something cool with the site.

If anyone knows where to buy one of these at that does not use ebay.com please share it with me/us

Enjoy

Gotta love how the only size is 2XXL. Says something about our userbase, eh?

Official sports jerseys are usually ridiculously expensive.

Trust me, I used to work making sublimation print jerserys (thugby, er, rugby leagy, AFL, union, soccer/footbal, basketball, cycling and probably other stuff I've forgotten about). Someone is getting a major profit from that.

As long as I get 10+ jerserys, I can get them for about $40-45 au per peice (IIRC, that was a 5-6 colour print). More, the priece drops. Of course, thats not a cycling jersey, that could be slightly more due to different cutting, material, etc..

*edit- thats not a 'employees discount', I havent worked as a screenprinter for years now, and I doubt I ever will agian. Its a very dirty business, and I dont want a part in it anymore...my brain would prefer I didnt as well, too many years of nasty thinners, stripping chemicals, etc..

BTW, thats not an 'offical sports jersery'. A lot of the cost on them, in stores, is supply chain driven (manufacturer-> supplier-> store is an extra setup than manufacturer-> online) and royalties due.
