Duplicated Volume Controls

Hi!
I have duplicated volume control applets:http://imagebin.org/106721.
If I try to remove the Indicator Applet some programs - running in background - like Rythmbox, Transmission also disappear.
Is the any way to remove one of these controls without removing the whole Indicator Applet?
Any suggestions are welcome!

After removing the Indicator Applet and rebooting the icons for the applications in the background are appearing next to Skype, Pidgin in the systray, and the extra volume-control applet is gone.
