During my regular update, I get an alert box showing:

Failed to fetch http://ppa.launchpad.net/ppa.launchpad.net//ubuntu/dists/karmic/main/binary-i386/Packages.gz 404 Not Found
Some index files failed to download, they have been ignored, or old ones used instead.

I went to http://ppa.launchpad.net and see there's no "ubuntu" folder.

Any ideas?

Also - on an unrelated note, I just noticed I'm using Firefox. Yesterday I was using Namorka (or whatever it is called).

I would remove it from your sources.

Thamk you.

I figure I have the repository because some software need it.

If I done have the repo enabled, that software won't get security updates.

Correct?
