It just wont work

Well when i was moving my my stuff from windows 7 to linux i used a thumb drive and I thought that it would be alright but as soon as I get my background out it does not come out right? Its not that bad I mean I can deal with it but I am just curious how to fix it:(

Are you saying you want your Windows wallpaper as your Ubuntu wallpaper?

are you saying that it doesn't fill the screen properly? there's options for strtching it and the like when you chose the wallper..
