Not sure what is going on with the ubuntu 10.04 lts, but ill discribe my issue the desktop.i386.iso is having some issues with booting and is giving me this (white noise) kinda screen... made multi copies of disk on cd - dvd and with slow burnspeeds and checksums.. nothing seems to have helped.

also .... my old 9.10 disk i tried afterwards works... but only till i updated or atleast tried to upgrade to 10.04Lts i then get the exact same screen.. im kinda lost here

image 1 is oh cd kinda trying to load i suppose
image 2 is what loads i guess... (good fight)

Probably a graphics issue.

What graphics card do you have installed?
