Handwritten notes - application for this?

Hey guys,

I use a Wacom tablet rather than a mouse.
Also, I tend to write reminder notes on a piece of paper.

I would like to take my notes in Ubuntu with an application which allows hybrid notes - as in both text and handwriting.

Something simple that also has some kind of overview - perhaps sticking to the desktop, or just a quick-accessed list of note titles.

Would be awesome to have this, please make your suggestion of an application to do this!

Xournal and Jarnal are two decent applications for that. Both in repos I think.

Xournal is totally awesome! Pressure sensitivity, eraser tip and pen button mappings with a click of a button!
