I installed while ago xubuntu 8.04 on Dell c400 from alternate CD, where I added only LXDE not xubuntu desktop. Recently I upgraded this laptop through Internet connection as suggested. It took around 2hours to finish.
After rebooting the system I found the system installed many other software including full xubuntu and became extremely slow. Is there way how it can be striped down to run well with its 256 MB shared with graphics which is 64MB?
