Moving Panel Launchers/Items

As you can see in the screenshot, everything is crowded onto the left side of the panel. Right clicking the items and selecting move allows me to change the order of these items, but I cannot freely move them to different panel positions (I.E, the "log out" button to the far right).

I can't for the life of me figure out what I'm doing wrong.

Edit: Nevermind, fixed.

You could separate the icons out into two panels.

Right click on the panel and select properties.
Add a second panel.

Give both panels the fixed position property and normal width.

Put one as the top left and the other as top right. Move the launchers and plugins as desired.
