I installed Ubuntu to dual boot on my Vista laptop recently. I've noticed that about half the time now, while the computer is starting up but before it gets to Grub, the computer is making an unhealthy-sounding sort of humming sound.
Is there something I may have done wrong? Should I uninstall Ubuntu/Grub?
