Haven't found clear guides.

USB HD - Formatted to fat32

...and that's basically what i know. :(

Unetbootin is pretty easy and it works great.

http://unetbootin.sourceforge.net/

Features

UNetbootin can create a bootable Live USB drive, or it can make a "frugal install" on your local hard disk if you don't have a USB drive. It can load distributions by automatically downloading their ISO (CD image) files, or by using existing ISO files, floppy/hard disk images, or kernel/initrd files,

Um, no install of Ubuntu, no hard drive, just an usb floppy and computer? If you have Ubuntu installed then you install unetbootin and plug your flash drive in. If you're trying to do this from a live cd, it might work. I don't know. I'm not sure what you're asking

Unetbootin can extract an iso to harddisk, you need an os to run unetbootin so if there is no os (windows or linux) on the harddisk then it will be hard to run unetbootin.

After the iso is extracted to harddisk you will boot and have an option to "run the cd" from harddisk. If you wish to install however the partition where the iso file is extracted cannot be resized because it is in use so when you want to install it will be tricky.

Installing on a computer with no media (except harddisk) will be hard unless you have an os and some room (unused partition) on the harddisk
