Hello hello!
I've been wanting to try out Ubuntu for a while now, and I finally decided to take the plunge. I popped the disk and restarted my system and the install process began. I got to the final part, and it got to 5%, and stopped. It just froze there for about 10 minutes, and my screen just went black just after I started typing this post. What is happening to the install? Is this normal? I'm moving from a x64 Windows 7 set up and my system specs. are in my sig if those can be of any use.

Edit: I got tired of waiting and I hit the restart button. This time it didn't get stuck at 5% and is finishing now. I have no idea why it stalled the first time, but there's no more problem.
