The CD is Ubuntu 10.04 desktop i386 - Ubuntu can be started as a trial, however restarting causes dozens of error messages to appear. The Windows 7 Home Premium (64-bit) PC must be unplugged. Using the CD to install resulted in the same problems when the process was completed and a reboot was necessary.
