Hello, thought this may be the best place to put this.
Today I installed ubuntu from a Live CD to dual boot with Windows 7. My computer is an hp pavillion. Before installing Ubuntu 10.04 I burnt a recovery disc for Windows 7 and removed two partitions so that Ubuntu could install, namely HP_TOOLS and HP_RECOVERY (I was able to boot after deleting HP_RECOVERY, don't remember about HP_TOOLS). I backed the files on these partitions as well. I was left with two partitions my HP already had, one named SYSTEM and the other I don't remember.
After installing Ubuntu, I couldn't get Windows 7 to boot, GRUB2 shows Lucid Lynx. memtest and two others named Windows 7 and Windows Vista.
None of those boot. I can catch a glimpse of a blue screen of death before the computer reboots.
How can I get Windows 7 back up and running well?
I left the recovery cd at work so I can't do anything beyond with it right now.
