The latest python 2.4.3, a stable, bug-fix release came out on the 29th. It fixes over 50 bugs in python.

Any idea how or when this will make it into the repositories?

Just tested out downloading and installing from the link above. Seems to be working fine.:)

the version in the repositorys is fine, this is just a bugfix. it'll prob'ly be in dapper (can't see why not) but i don't see a big thing about it being in the breezy repo's. unless there are some major bugs?
