Hi,
I have install Ubuntu on a USB Hard disk and its working fine.
Its Lacie 500 GB which needs external power supply.
After switch on I see GRUB showing Menu/options to boot.
Its fine.
Then I found that my USB Hard disk is switched OFF (USB device is detached from the PC, I can hear the sound)
Then when I choose to boot from GRUB Menu then I had to switch off and switch ON the power supply of USB disk.
I had added "rootdelay 90" so I have enough time to do this.
Then booting is OK.
Now the issue is why GRUB is detaching the USB device? How I can make it so that GRUB will attach automatically.
Thanks,
BT
