Kubuntu 10.04 guest on VMware player Windows XP Pro64 bit host
This seemingly ran OK until I loaded php, mysql and phpmyadmin and was in the final stages of configuring those with help. Now on restart of the computer it took a few attempts at starting both VMware and Kubuntu to even get as far as the login page and then just the plasma screen. The mouse is still active but nothing else is.
Any thoughts on this please.
