Hello all,
today I went along with the regular updates and apparently all my gallery2 data (tens of thousands of organized images) has been nuked:

I got a partial solution here (http://gallery.menalto.com/node/97041), but the real solution would be for ubuntu to stop bundling Gallery2 if they don't know how to maintain the configuration from one version to another...
