Hi everyone. Boy I'm having some boot problems here. From my last post (http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=1531847 ), I installed ubuntu 10.04 on my new 1 TB hard drive (not the whole thing of course:wink:) and the good news is that grub does see my windows partition, the bad news is once I click it I see a blinking line and that's it! Now I do want to add that it doesn't say 'Windows XP' but it says 'Windows 7 loader on /dev/sda1' on grub (The reason for this is because I installed windows 7 RC awhile back and I deleted it so now I only have it's boot loader). And yes, I'm duel-booting on two different drives. now I want to stay away from using the window CD as possible because My computer has sata drive which XP doesn't support, I lost the floppy to load the drives to make wndows xp work on sata drives so all I have is ubuntu. please help me out! and here's the result of the boot info script, hope this helps:popcorn:
