I recently installed the LXDE desktop environment on top of GNOME to test it out. Anyway, I don't have much interest in it anymore, but I noticed that there are some apps that were installed with it (i.e. LXTerminal, Xarchiver, etc.) and I would like to uninstall LXDE along with all these apps that were installed with it. I'm not sure that there is anyway to do this, but if I were able to view the dates that all my packages were installed, I'd easily be able to see everything that was installed with LXDE and remove these packages.

So does anyone know how to view the dates/times at which individual packages were installed?

Ok, I just saw that you can look at your package history by going to File>History in Synaptic. Although this works, its definitely not convenient. They should modify Synaptic to include a Date Installed column, that way you can easily sort your installed packages. Anyway, having a history is good enough for now.
