Hello, I'm a newbie to ubuntu..sorry if this is in the wrong section.
I just recently downloaded an ubuntu driver for a lexmark 7600 off of there support site and when I try to run it, it asks for the root(administrator) pass and tells me the pass I entered is incorrect. I'm certain I'm entering it correctly and I am on the administrator account. I've been prompted to enter the pass many times before for various reasons and had no issues until now.
