hello, i have problem with upgrade manager. i try upgrade fron 8.04 to 8.10. where is my main.log:

You can not upgrade to 8.10 because that version of Ubuntu is no longer supported and repositories are no longer available. Support finished in April 2010, 18 months after release, as is normal for a standard Ubuntu version as opposed to a LTS version, eg. 10.04.

I think you will have to do a clean install if you want to have a newer version. Try 10.04.
