I have two installs of Ubuntu: Lucid 10.04 and Jaunty 9.04 on my desktop along with a partition for Windows.

I have not switched completely to Lucid as I have to transfer user files since the import function failed during the Lucid install.

When under Jaunty update manager asks if i want to install important security updates. When I say yes it tells me to insert the Lucid CD. But then it makes no attempt to look at the CD when I click OK. It just repeats the message. Why are Jaunty updates asking for the Lucid CD?
Atttached is a screenshot.

Thanks.

Try opening Synaptic Package Manager--->Settings--->Repositories--->Third Party Software, then untick the cd option.
