Hi.

I know that you have to have a server first but that's about it. I have ABSOLUTELY NO KNOWLEDGE of this topic.

But what I do know is that I'm itching to learn how to use perl cgi scripts.

So can I please have a step-by-step "I'm-a-total-idiot" type of tutorial on how to get Apache server running with perl support and then how to enable it to run CGI scripts.

Please don't be mad at me because I couldn't comprehend any of the stuff that came up in Google.

EDIT: I found an easy step-by-step tutorial here: http://www.ubuntugeek.com/how-to-install-apache2-webserver-with-phpcgi-and-perl-support-in-ubuntu-server.html

I wonder how come other tutorials give extremely complicated instructions when this tutorial helped me set it all up in 5 minutes.
