Hi,
I have recently tryed to install 10.04 (lucid) on my computer, but the first thing that shows up is something like this "linux - checksum failed" just a short error message.
P.S. i cant recreate it now because i updated 9.10 and now my disk drives dont work (http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=1532522)

Thanks in advance.

If you still have Lucid iso on your comp, then download it again with torrent and point download to the folder where your Lucid iso is.Torrent will just check iso for bad files and replace them with good ones.Boot your old kernel and see if your CD/DVD drive is recognized. If not download alternate cd iso and upgrade without using CD/DVD drive.Read this.
