I have Lucid installed on my netbook with the regular Gnome environment. I am a teacher, and I hook the netbook up to a projector in the classroom.
Is there a way to set it up so that there is a panel that appears in the projector window when it is in use, but not be there when I only have the laptop window in use? I tried setting up a panel in the projector window, and the first time I did it, it ended up on top of my other panel when I was just on the laptop. The second time I tried it, I set up an autohide panel, and Gnome froze as it loaded. I had to go into xterm and flush the panel configs to get it to start up again.
