I'm not sure this is the correct forum to ask this in but I can't find information on it.

We are using 10.04 and the Dell 10.04 Ubuntu setup as doing nothing but Terminal Server Client connections. They are connecting to a Win 2008 Server. All of the work stations are Dell desktops of various model numbers.

The problem is that every single time the users connect they are having to re-enable clear-type fonts for their logins.

Clear-type is enabled on the Admin account on the server.

Is this a setting that Ubuntu isn't holding or is it something with the fact that we are using Ubuntu as a dumb terminal (probably the best way to describe it. The clear type font works fine from a Win vista dumb terminal setup.

If we do not activate the clear-type fonts then they are very blurry and hard for the users to be able to read for long periods of time.

If I've posted this in the wrong place I'm sorry just point me in the right direction.
