I hate to be nit-picky, but I think it's time for a little education.
MAC=Media Access Control (Address)
Mac = Macintosh (Computer)
So if you don't want to use a MAC, than you don't want your computer to be able to connect to a net using any current Ethernet or WiFi adapters.

MAC also means Mandatory Access Controls, like with Apparmor.

Yes, MAC can be many things, but it can't be a Mac...
It's also a computer in all caps, as in: "I HATE THIS STUPID MAC!" ):P

No, but network adapters have MAC addresses, so I thought it was a reasonable illustrative predicate.
BTW, I'm not being defensive here. You just gave me a good opening, to keep this thread going without using the B-word :lolflag:

Yeah, it's really important that we don't use MAC where we mean Mac..... Who says context is dead? ;)
